With almost two decades worth of experience in the Biotech industry, Craig Kerns is a leader in quality and education for his field and is currently the Manager of Technical Training for the Central Atlantic and Northeast Divisions at the American Red Cross. He has been the point of contact for the interface of private company blood quality assurance and blood borne pathogens including West Nile and Ebola. Never one to step away from a challenge, Craig oversaw the American Red Cross’s country-wide requirement to create socially distanced training and implemented it within one week during the worst of the pandemic. Leveraging his past positions in quality and education, he has provided leadership through multiple acquisitions, new product implementations, and education redesigns. Craig has shared his experiences and approach for delivering training and education initiatives for a large organization to the local level at national speaking events.
Since 2019, Craig has been the Management Sponsor for his department’s Diversity and Inclusion Team at the American Red Cross. He is passionate about creating positive and inclusive environments for employees and customers through language and action. |
