David Boone is the Executive Vice President and Chief Growth Officer for Michael Baker International responsible for both public and private sector development. Previously he was President of CB&I Federal Services and its successor organization, APTIM Government Services. He joined the CB&I team in December 2013 following a 30 year career in the Navy. Initially starting in Strategic Development, he then became the head of Business Development. Mr. Boone then moved to Operations across the Federal sector in Engineering and Construction, Environmental Services, Energy and Base Operating Services. Under APTIM, he led teams under FEMA contracts responding to disasters in Baton Rouge, Texas, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.
Mr. Boone retired from the US Navy in 2013 as a Navy Civil Engineer Corps Rear Admiral. His last active duty assignment was as the Director of Shore Readiness for the Navy Staff where he was responsible for facilities and energy funding and policy for 70 bases worldwide. He managed facilities and infrastructure throughout his career at bases and expeditionary locations in the United States and throughout the world. His command tours include Underwater Construction TEAM ONE (Seabees), NAVFAC MARIANAS (Guam), and NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic Region. He is a registered professional engineer in the states of Virginia and Florida. He also received the Nippon Zenkokai Award from the Office of the Prime Minister of Japan. |
