Joseph (Joe) Meldrum serves as the National Distribution Manager for vehicles at Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. where he has spent the last ten years developing a career. Joe has worked across many departments within the organization from sales, network development, supply chain management, to customer relations. Joe is currently serving as program lead for an initiative which looks to drive strategic change in the way the company handles the distribution of its vehicles. This initiative requires leveraging big data, and working cross-functionally, specifically focused on bridging the gap between the traditional sales organization and Information Technology functions.
He and his company share a common vision in all that they do, of which a key tenant is to ensure a customer focused approach is taken in all facets of the organization. Joe recognizes that we are in a world where consumer preferences and demands are shifting rapidly, and it is through analyzing data and having well defined strategies that companies are able to forge a path to growth. Joe holds a B.B.A from Northwood University, and is currently enrolled in the Masters of Information Technology (MIT) program through Virginia Tech.
