Shannon Leininger is a State, Local Government and Education Vice President in the US Public Sector organization. Shannon is dedicated to working with state and local government and education in their digital transformation to better protect, serve, and educate citizens.
To help schools and government accelerate this journey, Shannon focuses on major technology trends such as mobility, big data, analytics, the Internet of Things, and cloud to drive deep reform of services, processes and technologies. Before her current role, Shannon led the Cisco Federal Civilian Market as the Senior Operation Director for US Federal Civilian agencies. In this role, Shannon focused on better access to patient care for veterans, climate change, and national security. She has served in numerous roles at Cisco specializing in the High-Performance Computing market. Prior to joining Cisco in 2007, Shannon held leadership roles at Platform Computing and Ernst and Young Technologies. Mentorship, talent development and leadership are important to Shannon. She serves as an Advisory Board Member on the Harrisburg University STEM-UP Network, the Public-Sector Inclusion Leadership Team and the Cisco Connected Women Board of Directors and Women in Technology. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Science degree from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. |
