April’s career has spanned the areas of healthcare, non-profit agencies, and higher education. She started her career as a Medical Social Worker; caring about people and their experience is a priority for her.
As April’s career matured, she developed a passion for and was inspired to facilitate change at the organizational level. She began using Lean and Six Sigma principles to support strategic planning, change management, leadership development and process improvement initiatives that engaged employees, created inspiring workplaces, and obtained data to drive decision making, resulting in changes that help improve customer/stakeholder experience.
April holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Master’s Degree in Social Work, and Master’s in Management & Organizational Behavior. She holds numerous quality certifications including; Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality and Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
