Ginny Smoot currently serves as the Vice President of Internal Audit for Presidio, the premier provider of digital transformation solutions built on agile secure infrastructure deployed in a multi-cloud world. She has over 25 years experience helping companies with their system, process and control needs. She brings both Big 4 accounting firm as well as Chief Audit Executive and Chief Compliance Officer experience to provide well-rounded solutions. She is an energetic business leader who is able to assess a situation holistically, and then develop and implement practical solutions right-sized for the business.
She has a strong financial and technical background with areas of expertise in internal audit, ethics and compliance, business process improvement, ERP and Business Analytic system implementations, and large scale system integration and implementation. She has extensive experience communicating with all levels of an organization, including the Audit Committee and executive leadership. Virginia is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the state of Virginia. She obtained her MBA from Loyola University of Maryland.
