Adam has led in-store marketing at CarMax, the nation’s largest used car retailer, since joining in 2006. His team’s primary responsibility is to develop and create materials and experiences that bring the CarMax brand to life across all touch points in their physical properties – from stores to home delivery vehicles -- ensuring a seamless and exceptional customer experience across the journey.

During his tenure, Adam has worked with and led teams from across the organization, including business partners in Sales, Merchandising, Service, Marketing, Product, and Field Associates, and has worked closely with senior leadership. His work has covered a diverse portfolio of projects that spans innovating store designs to leading marketing strategy for CarMax wholesale auctions to developing how customers shop during a once-in-a-lifetime pandemic!

Prior to CarMax, Adam worked for Ukrop's Super Markets, the grocery leader at the time in Richmond, in the retail stores for seven years before joining the Marketing Department with a focus on retail marketing strategies, grassroots/community support, and leading marketing efforts for grocery, perishable, and pharmacy categories.
