Alan is a Director, People (Global HR) at S&P Global. Alan’s role is focused on building talent and organization strategies through leadership partnership, business model design and optimization of the organization and its talent for sustained high performance and growth. Alan has over a decade of experience in organizational effectiveness, HR consulting and human capital planning. During his time at Fannie Mae, Alan was responsible (at one time or another) for every part of the employee listening and engagement strategy and how that impacted the employee experience.
Alan’s particular passion is on ensuring the the operating model clearly connects customer experience to the company’s people (employee) experience. Using right-fit organizational designs, agile/lean management systems, and integrated culture, talent, and development strategies - Alan works to bring the company’s people in lockstep with the customer’s journey.
When not designing #peoplefirst strategies, Alan is voraciously reading management strategy and history books, working out at CrossFit, or finding ways to optimize his own performance. Alan is a Wake Forest University Undergraduate Alumni and earned his MBA from The George Washington University School of Business in Washington DC. Alan resides in Charlottesville, VA with his wife and two children.
