Alana Tucker is the Director of Program Operations with the Virginia Division of Child Support Enforcement providing direction to several divisional teams including Communications and Initiatives, Program Guidance, Program Services and Business Projects. She brings to this role 16 years of child support experience, previously serving as the Program Guidance Manager over the division’s policy and communications team; the Program Services Manager over the division’s Central Registry and customer service operations.
In June 2019, Alana was instrumental in the launch of Virginia’s Digital Marketing Grant that strategically reached a new audience of child support customers. Alana enjoys guiding her team towards developing initiatives and strategies that create opportunities for staff to deliver services to external customers with a family-centered approach while focusing on the customer’s experience. She is integral in reshaping business projects that involve system enhancements evolving the agency’s web portal that serves over 150,000 customers. She knows that government programs must continue to evolve in the 21st century to meet the needs of families holistically through customer experience focused technology and innovation. Alana is married to her husband of 17 years and they have three sons. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science. |
