Hello, my name is Amaan Karim and I am very excited to be joining the Advisory Board. I am a Virginia native born and bred and I received my undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech. I have worked my entire career in the Northern Virginia area and certainly have an affinity for the state along with the Higher Education community. Since graduating with a Finance degree and a minor in Leadership & Social Change, I have worked at Apple, Oracle, and am now currently with Splunk.

I have been at Splunk for almost 5 years and have held numerous positions from sales and sales leadership to now being the State & Local and Higher Education Best Practices Director. Customer success is a huge priority for myself and I am thrilled to gain varying perspectives on the subject through this experience.
