Angela Lello has over 15 years of experience in government services and policy, including at state developmental disability service agencies where she directed and managed public policy and public information activities and worked on the implementation of a variety of initiatives in Texas. She was a 2011-2012 Joseph P. Kennedy Jr. Foundation Public Policy Fellow in the offices of the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions and the Administration on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
She served as a senior analyst at a congressional advisory commission on Medicaid and CHIP before coming to Autism Speaks in 2014 where she oversees federal legislative and regulatory affairs on Medicaid, housing and community living, and other important health policies. She earned a Masters in Public Affairs from the LBJ School of Public Affairs and has contributed to a variety of conferences, presentations and publications. She is based in Northern Virginia. |
