Caitlin Mann

With being in the meetings and events industry for over 10 years, Caitlin started out her career with the American Correctional Association (ACA) right out of college in progressively responsible positions culminating with being the department director where she managed a team that was responsible for two annual conferences and exhibitions.  Then in an effort to build her skill set further she joined the Events team as a planner at the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) where she was able to work on a variety of projects and a more diverse portfolio of events including SHRM’s Annual Conference & Exposition of over 20,000 attendees.

Today, she is the senior manager of meeting operations at the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Foundation where she is part of the team who plans and executes their Annual Meeting of over 5,000 attendees. Caitlin earned her CEM (Certified in Exhibition Management) and CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) certifications in 2012 and 2013 respectively and then went on to pursue her Digital Event Strategist certification (DES) certification in September 2018 and recently recertified in September 2020. She was selected as one of the honorees of The International Association of Exhibitions and Events® (IAEE) under 35 recognition program in December 2020.
