As the VP/GM for the Training and Logistics Services Division (TLSD), Carl Grunow is responsible for leading a great team to sustain a robust business development pipeline while providing effective program management and superior services on a variety of tasks with many customers. Since joining the PD Systems team, Carl has helped to grow the business by over 100% while earning exceptional customer service ratings. Customers include the Army Training Support Center (ATSC) and Sustainment Center of Excellence (SCoE) at Forts Eustis and Lee respectively. TLSD also supports the Virginia Department of Veteran Services (DVS) Virginia Values Veterans (V3) Program. Outside Virginia, TLSD supports customers from Georgia to Oklahoma, including the U.S. Army Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) School near Fort Bragg, NC.
Mr. Grunow retired from the Army after a 23-year career including various command and staff positions culminating in a 12-month tour as the senior adviser to an Iraqi Army armored brigade in June 2006. After retirement, Carl gained valuable experience in guest relations while working for Target Corporation, managing two stores in the Richmond area. Mr. Grunow holds a B.S. from the U.S. Military Academy and a Masters in Public Administration from Cornell University. Mr. Grunow has published articles related to Operation Iraqi Freedom in Military Review (July-August 2006) and Army Magazine (April 2007). Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Grunow is married with two daughters. |
