Demetric Anamateros joined Hughes Network Systems in October, 2010. He currently serves as Sr Vice President of Customer Service & Enterprise Network Engineering for North America. In this role, Mr. Anamateros is responsible for all operations in the six contact centers providing customer service and technical support to all American customer segments for the Americas, as well as, a team of over 40 Engineers who are responsible for the design, monitoring and maintenance of Hughes’ Enterprise customer networks.
Along with direct support to our end users, his teams also support Dealer, Distributor, Consumer VAR, and Large Enterprise helpdesks. In addition to his contact center responsibilities, Mr. Anamateros also leads efforts in expanding all other channels of support, which consists of IVR self service, My HughesNet, Enterprise Customer Gateway, and Social Media Channels.
Prior to joining Hughes, Mr. Anamateros spent 11 years at RCN in various executive roles, ultimately serving as Vice President of Contact Center Operations and Corporate Telecom. While at RCN he was able to greatly improve operational efficiency and information management through process improvements and technology. Mr. Anamateros has also held IT and customer service operations leadership roles at Vialog Communications, Barnett, Inc, and America Online.
