JJ is a respected Hotelier in the Greater DC Metro Area, focused in Northern Virginia. Her career in Hotels started in 2013 though customer service has always been an intricate part of every role she held prior to focusing her career path on the Hospitality Industry. JJ has worked under the Hyatt Hotels and Marriott portfolios, under the managing of esteemed management companies such as Aimbridge Hospitality, Hersha Hospitality Management (HHM), Highgate Hotels and currently HEI Hotels and Resorts. She has maintained employment throughout the Pandemic in one of the industries hit hardest by the Covid19 ripple effect.
In addition to her profession, JJ is currently a volunteer and active member with the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) DC chapter since 2015. She was invited back to serve a 2nd term on the HSMAI National Rising Sales Leader Council for 2021 and is on the HSMAI DC Program & Education task force. Under HSMAI, JJ has served as a panelist, created and tested educational content and had articles published nationally. Customer service or more importantly “being a problem solver” is the root of her success. When most people think of a career in sales, they do not consider the hospitality industry as an option. A part of JJ’s core values is to inspire passion and love for her industry, to pay forward the mentorship and prospects that were given to her as she grew and fell in love with this customer service based industry. |
