Kristin E. Cormier Robinson is the Director of FEMA Strategic Affairs for IEM. She has been with IEM for almost three years. IEM is the largest woman owned homeland security and emergency management company globally. In her position, Kristin builds relationships with potential clients, other partner companies, and the government.
Her teams have supported development of preparedness activities at FEMA, as well as the writing and updating of emergency operations plans and crisis communications plans for some of the nation's largest transit facilities and airports. Prior to joining IEM, Kristin served as a political appointee at FEMA from 2009-2017 supporting survivor focused efforts including wholesale customer focused changes to the National Flood Insurance Program. In her work at FEMA, she supported negotiation and implementation of two flood insurance bills and supported implementation of two emergency management reform bills. She supported major disasters such as Hurricane Sandy, Hurricanes Irene and Lee, Mid-west flooding, and more. |
