Matt Simms is the Executive Director & CEO of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA), an organization dedicated to providing opportunities for small colleges to compete for National Championships and student athlete recognition against schools of like size in the U.S. The USCAA host the Small College National Championships in fifteen sports.
Simms is a graduate of Old Dominion University, where he obtained a bachelor’s in Organizational Psychology, and William & Mary where he received his MBA. His work with the USCAA has included reorganization of the USCAA Basketball National Championships, which now includes a combined tournament with 34 teams playing four championships in four days. In 2016, he moved to create similar concepts with a combined USCAA Fall Championship Week and the USCAA Small College World Series that have elevated the USCAA Championship experience and generated stronger economic impacts in the regions that host USCAA Championships. Additionally, Simms has written grant applications securing almost $250,000 for the USCAA. |
