Michael Mullins

Customer Service - 19 years with camping programs. 5 years with high end clients at Skis on the Run.
Mic Mullins is an Eagle Scout from Knoxville, TN where he earned his Ordeal and Brotherhood with Pellissippi lodge.  He studied Forestry at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.  Upon graduation he returned to working at Philmont Scout Ranch running their Forestry and GIS programs.  He spent 10 years working seasonally at Philmont Scout Ranch doing many different jobs including Philmont Ranger Backpacking Guide, Ranger Trainer, Camp Director, Winter Guide, and Associate Director of Conservation program.  In 2011 his love of Scouting prompted hi to move from Park City, UT, where he serves five years at the General Manager of Skis on the Run, to Richmond.

He serves as the Program Director for the Heart of Virginia Council where he works to provide a quality outdoor program.  He serves as the Camp Director for Fun with Spring, Creepy Hollow, Winter Camp, Spring Camp, and Tiger & Lion Rally.  He served as Camp Director of Camp T. Brady Saunders from 2012-2018, and still serves as the Heart of Virginia Scout Reservation Director.  He has also been a member of Nawakwa Lodge since 2011 where he achieved his Vigil honor and serves as lodge staff advisor.  In his free time, Mic loves to go hiking and camping with his wife Ashley and sons Wyatt & Walker.
