Raj Shankar serves as Vice President of Digital Transformation & GTM for the Aerospace and Government SI markets at Salesforce. For over 20 years, Raj has been delivering industry strategy and innovative  solutions such as Digital Thread, Digital Twin, Smart Factory, Aftermarket etc., in the emerging tech space using IoT, AR/VR, AI/ML and Cloud technologies.

In his current role, he leads enterprise strategy, partner engagement, industry thought leadership, and sector-specific digital solutions. Prior to his role at Salesforce, he was the CTO for the Aerospace and Defense business at DXC Technology. He is member of key committees at SAE International, Aerospace Industries Association and WashingtonExec , advancing digital transformation and standards in AI & Supply Chain in the Aerospace and Defense industry.

​Raj is an author and speaker at industry forums on Digital Transformation, Connected Factory, Parts Provenance etc., and holds a Masters in Engineering from BITS, Pilani, India and an MBA from Babson College, Wellesley, MA.
