Rick brings over 40 years experience with pursuing his Customer’s satisfaction through each of the Owner, Contractor, and Designer’s perspectives from previous positions he has held in the Educational, Facilities and Industrial design/construction markets.  

As Vice President in the Facilities group with Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, he embraces their corporate Seller-Doer marketing culture that requires his commitment to understanding and exceeding his client’s expectations from preparing the technical proposal and executing the contract requirements to successfully delivering the final project.
He is a professional engineer with a BSEE from Pennsylvania State University and a Masters of Engineering Management from George Washington University that focused on personnel development and construction management. 

He is also a GDC Certified Mediator by the Virginia Supreme Court who emphasizes effective Alternative Dispute Resolution through facilitating deeper interpersonal communication of difficult issues.
