Troy's career consists of more than 25 years of strategy, operations, innovation, and enterprise (strategic) risk management experience. He recently led strategic finance and transformation for NPR. Prior to NPR, he was responsible for financial products and services strategy and planning for AARP Services, Inc. (ASI), AARP’s wholly-owned, taxable subsidiary. Troy has also held finance, strategy, innovation, and operations leadership positions across banking, insurance, and asset management industries.
His professional interests include board directorship; strategic risk modeling and governance; value-based ERM, innovative value creation; operational excellence; and start-up strategy, planning, and execution.
Troy is a proud father of three amazing daughters, and enjoys reading, traveling, and volunteering. He holds both a bachelor's and master's degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a master's degree in enterprise risk management from Columbia University in New York.
